Terms and conditions
1. General Agreement
By engaging in services with Seres Engineering ("we," "us," "our"), you ("the customer") acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Our tuning services, including but not limited to dyno tuning, ECU calibration, and performance modifications, are provided on the basis that the customer understands and accepts the risks involved.
2. Vehicle Condition & Maintenance Requirements
The customer acknowledges that performance tuning places additional strain on the vehicle and that proper maintenance is essential to prevent failures.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle is in a mechanically sound condition prior to tuning. Any pre-existing faults, leaks, or mechanical issues may be worsened by performance tuning.
We highly recommend a strict maintenance schedule, including regular oil changes, fuel system checks, and cooling system servicing. Neglecting maintenance significantly increases the likelihood of engine or component failure.
Failure to follow a strict maintenance program (as outlined by us or your vehicle manufacturer) may lead to mechanical failures, for which we take no responsibility.
If your vehicle is found to be in an unsuitable condition for tuning, we reserve the right to refuse service until the necessary repairs are made.
3. E85 Fuel & Other Performance Fuels
Customers choosing to run E85 or other high-performance fuels acknowledge that these fuels can be corrosive and require additional maintenance and system upgrades. b. E85 absorbs moisture and can degrade fuel system components over time. We strongly recommend using ethanol-compatible fuel lines, injectors, and pumps, along with regular system flushes.
Cold starts with E85 can cause excessive fuel dilution, leading to oil contamination and increased moisture buildup within the engine. This can degrade lubrication, accelerate wear on engine components, and lead to premature failure if regular oil changes and proper maintenance are not performed.
Seres Engineering is not responsible for any damage caused by the use of E85 or any other high-performance fuel.
4. Risks & Liability
Performance modifications and tuning carry inherent risks, including but not limited to engine failure, transmission wear, driveline stress, and cooling system overload. b. Seres Engineering is not responsible for any mechanical or electrical failures occurring before, during, or after the tuning process.
Customers accept that all tuning is performed at their own risk. If an engine or component fails due to pre-existing conditions, inadequate maintenance, or increased load from tuning, we accept no liability for repair or replacement costs.
Dyno tuning involves running a vehicle at high loads and RPMs. While we take precautions to ensure safe operation, we cannot be held responsible for failures occurring during the tuning process.
5. Warranty Disclaimer
All tuning services and modifications provided by Seres Engineering are performed "as is" and do not include any warranty unless otherwise specified. Manufacturer warranties may be voided by modifications. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify any potential impact on their vehicle’s warranty.
6. Customer Acknowledgment
By engaging in our tuning services, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions. The customer assumes full responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and reliability of their vehicle following tuning.
7. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.
